Shih Tzu Town

That's what they call it here! We love our Shih Tzu pups! We have 8 dogs total. Seven are Shih Tzu and Shih Tzu mixes and one Border Collie mix. There is never a dull moment, except for nap time.
We also have two cats, three ferrets and an aquarium.
Here they are visiting with the neighbors.

Today I took three to the groomer to get their summer cuts. Sometimes I take all seven at one time but that is a chore for sure.
Clyde, the black and white in the back is ignoring me. He did that on the ride home and will do it for a day or so. He's the oldest, so he rules.

This is Clyde before his hair cut. He is my heart and is a full blooded Shih Tzu. He was with me during my Cancer battle and never left my side. It didn't matter if I stayed in bed all day, he was there. He would sit and watch me, wherever I was.
That's a special bond that can never be broken.
This is Boo before his hair cut. I didn't have a pic of Maks, who is the prankster. We call them the twins. Haha. They are about the same age but not related and are both a Shih Tzu Poodle mix.

Just thought I would share what I do with my SPARE time!
The other four will be going to the groomer Thursday and I will share pics of them.
Now off to play with my gourds!

What fun! I only have 2 pooches, in my menagerie. Grooming time must be a nightmare, lol for you, best to get it professionally done, I groom my own, which can end up in some bad hairdays....

Lol.. I LOVE Them :) !!!!
I am curious, when they have nap time do they all cuddle up next each other?
I would have that many puppies if Alan could cope with them.
Love he pics of your fur babies.

I love your sweet little 8 kiddos. Isnt' it just so special that they just seem to know when we need there love and tederness the most. My little scottie was the same way during my many treatments for Hep C. Its very much like the chemo for cancer. After 4 separate treatments they determined that it wasn't helping and stopped but Gandolf was there beside me the whole time. I am still here but my sweet Gandolf crossed the rainbow bridge and is waiting for me to join him some day. Such a unconditional love is such a tremendous reward that they give us.

Hi Gourdie! How did I miss this post? They are so so cute! I have a Shih Tzu mix too! She's a cutie and always demands my attention. I can't imagine how you keep up with your sweet puppies.

Thanks so much for your lovely visit as always! Congrats on your granddaughters soon to be arrival! I am touched at your sweet thought of my "grow" painting. If you'd like to know more about it, she is now in my etsy shop. Blessings to you! :)
