Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all you Mom's have a wonderful weekend! I think I will go visit mine tomorrow. Take her a little happy and tell her how incredibly awesome this piece is!
SCREAM!!!!

The artist is Bonnie Jones and you can see more pics of this breathtaking witch on her blog.
Some people know she is my mom but many don't as we travel in different circles, on the internet that is.
She is an art doll artist and does full body sculpts where I am a primitive artist and work with gourds.
I love it when someone realizes we are related and they say, "Bonnie is YOUR Mother?". The only problem is they can't see me strut when I say, "YEAH!".

Now that I've seen her work--you suddenly make sense! You didn't just drop into the world like some kind of crazy cosmic miracle--it's in your genes! Wow! I'm following her too--she's amazing. You are so lucky to have a mom that is such a fantastic example. Have a great mom's day!

Awww how nice, your mom is very lucky to have such a caring daughter and you are so lucky to have inherited her talent. My mom is an artist also and there was times when I was growing up that it was kind of intimidating. She has always been my biggest fan and I'm hers too. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's day too Linda!

What a nice thing to say about your mother...actually Linda's talent is natural; she was born with a paint brush in her hand whereas I have to work my butt off to do what I do and I cannot paint.
It comes easy for her.
